Before I found my calling, I worked many years in mining, firefighting, chaplaincy and account managing, gaining firsthand experience of the real-world challenges people face. People I Love To Work With
I work with everyday people, like myself, navigating life’s toughest challenges including depression, addiction, anxiety, feelings of unworthiness, purposelessness, or suicidal thoughts. I also support those experiencing relationship breakdowns, grief, or uncertainty about the future. Having experience in a broken home, losing an extended family member who took their own life, and having battled addictions myself, I am deeply passionate about helping prevent similar tragedies. Drawing on both personal experience and professional training, I provide a safe, non-judgemental space to be heard. My goal is to guide men toward clarity, resilience, and renewed purpose, helping them regain confidence and navigate life’s challenges with hope.
LifeWell Partnership
In early 2025, I was blessed to partner with LifeWell, a highly respected Baptist counselling organisation in South Australia. With 20 years of experience, LifeWell has provided care to thousands of people in need. LifeWell operates across multiple locations around Adelaide, offering flexibility to meet clients in a setting that suits them best. For those with busy schedules or who prefer the comfort of their own space, I also offer online counselling, making support accessible and convenient.
FAQs
Feel free to ask
1. What are your fees for a counselling session?
Standard fees apply, if you are facing financial difficulties, or if you are with NDIS, either self or plan managed, we can work together.
Please email me for more information.
2. Where are you located?
While I do offer online counselling for convenience and flexibility, thanks to my partnership with LifeWell, I can meet clients anywhere from Wynn Vale, to Enfield, to Colonel Light Gardens. If these options don’t suit you, please get in touch, and I’ll do my best to arrange a convenient alternative.
3. What is your availability?
There is some flexibility in my schedule, we can try to find a time that suits us both, contact me via email and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.
4. How do I know if this is the right fit for me?
Every counsellor has their own approach, and it’s important to find someone you feel comfortable with. If you’re unsure whether my style will be a good fit, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. You can email me with any questions, and we can discuss how I work and what to expect. Ultimately, the best way to know if it’s the right fit is to give it a try. I’m here to help, and I want to ensure you feel supported throughout your journey.
5. Can I book multiple sessions and get a discount?
Yes, if you’re looking to book multiple sessions in advance, please reach out to me. I’m happy to arrange a discount for you to make ongoing support more affordable.
6. Is this confidential?
Confidentiality is a cornerstone of effective counselling, and I take it very seriously. All sessions are highly confidential, with some legal limitations, which will be clearly outlined in the counselling contract and discussed during the initial session. Your trust is important, and I am committed to creating a safe space for you to share openly.
7. What’s the difference between therapy and counselling?
While the terms “therapy” and “counselling” are often used interchangeably, there can be some distinctions. Counselling typically focuses on providing support for specific challenges or issues, often with a more short-term approach. Therapy, on the other hand, might involve longer-term work, helping you explore deeper emotional or psychological issues. Both offer support, but therapy often looks at long-term growth and transformation, while counselling tends to focus on immediate concerns or life adjustments.
